19th December council by elections

BOLTON - Harper Green RESULT (LAB HOLD)
FENLAND - Elm and Christchurch RESULT (CON HOLD)
FOREST HEATH - Market RESULT (CON HOLD)
HIGHLAND - Black Isle RESULT (INDY HOLD)
LINCOLNSHIRE - Scotter Rural RESULT (LIBDEM GAIN)

When these elections were last held 15,678 votes were cast for all 9 as the Highland by election is still to provide first preference votes I will do my figures against 8 out of 9
Conservatives 5,651 votes 36%
Labour 3,082 votes 19.7%
Liberal Democrats 2,534 votes 16.2%
Independents 2,277 votes 14.5%
UKIP 1,175 votes 7.9%
SNP 610 votes 3.4%
Green Party 292 votes 1.9%
Other 57 votes 0.4%

  1. I find it hard to believe your 8/9 figures for when the wards were last contested.

    The 8 wards are all in England or Wales, but the SNP still get a figure!

    Are the SNP putting up candidates outside Scotland now?

    1. Thank you for taking the time to reply. The first set of figures including SNP was for when the elections were last held 9 of 9 . so includes SNP the next two figs were 8 of 9 so didn't . hope this makes sense.
